ASUS announces the start of sales in Ukraine of Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304) – the world’s thinnest laptop with a 13.3-inch OLED display, which had its world premiere a week ago.

ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED is distinguished by an extremely thin body of 1 cm thick and weighs only 1 kg. The model provides high performance and long battery life, moreover, it is equipped with a full kit of modern connection interfaces. The laptop is available in two color solutions: new basalt gray and classic ponder blue.

Maximum Configuration

In the maximum configuration, the laptop has a powerful 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor, a 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface.

The Display Is the Laptop Adornment

The adornment of Zenbook S 13 OLED is its ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2.8K (2,880 × 1,800), certified by Dolby Vision, Pantone Validated and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500. It provides an extremely clear reflection, reproducing the deepest shades of black.

Environmental Friendliness and Energy Efficiency

This model is the most ecological among the ones created by ASUS. The laptop body is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy obtained from production waste, that made it possible to reduce the carbon footprint by more than 50%.

The device’s keyboard and speakers are made from recycled household plastic (PCR), and the speakers also use «ocean» plastic.

Only FSC Mix certified paper is used for packaging the laptop, i.e. made from forests wood that are managed in accordance with the principles of responsible forest management, controlled wood and recycled materials.

In addition, Zenbook S 13 OLED exceeds the ENERGY STAR standard requirements for energy consumption by 43%.

Plasma Ceramization of Metal

For the first time, a special plasma metal ceramization technology was used for the production of this laptop, thanks to which the device aluminum cover acquires an original appearance. During the technological process, only water and electric current are used, organic compounds, aggressive acids and heavy metals are not used in any case. This highly ecological method causes physical and chemical transformations in aluminum when the part is immersed in a special bath. As a result: improved corrosion protection, wear resistance, heat transfer, hardness and durability.

In addition to improving the material physical properties, this process helps to give the surface a natural stone look that resonates with the spirit of Zenbook series. Incredibly, plasma ceramization makes each cover unique – no two Zenbook S 13 OLEDs are alike.
